A book and pay weekly ‘Open Gym’ session open to:
GfA Stage 4 Gymnasts aged 11 years+
NDP Squad Gymnasts aged 9 years+
GfA Intermediate & Advanced aged 9 years+
WHAT IS OPEN GYM?
Open Gym is a supervised session for gymnasts who want to have an additional practice session on an adhoc basis and can work independently with supervision.
Gymnasts should have a clear idea of what they want to work on as the activities are entirely their choice.
Gymnasts should have a sound understanding of safe practice in the gym.
The first half an hour is a set warm-up and conditioning program (either the Open Gym standard or their own from and individual training program). After that there is a schedule of what apparatus is available and when and within that participants may choose whatever they like to work on.
Booking is up to 3 weeks in advance.
