Floor Routine Choreography

For NDP Squad & Development Gymnasts

When an individual or group require a new floor routine, arrangements will be made for a choreographer to attend to specifically undertake this task. The Choreographer may be an independent professional or one of our trained coaches with the required choreography skills.

As a general rule, new Women’s Artistic routines are needed every 1 or 2 years.   Acrobatic Routines generally need to be changed every year.

Music and list of required elements must be supplied to the Choreographer at least 10 days in advance of the first session. Usually your coach will do this or help you do this

Choreography is charged separately.  The prices below are a general guide only...

Artistic Floor Routine: £40 per routine

This includes:

  • Conception and choreography.

  • Music selection and editing

  • Up to 2 hours dedicated to learning the routine*.

(either with the choreographer or gymnast performing).

*The above prices do not include hire of the space. Time will be allowed during Training sessions for Choreography to take place. Gymnasts are advised to discuss this with their coach. It may also take place during a session that the gymnast does not normally attend (e.g. on a BLUE TRAINING day if the gymnast does not usually train that day) at no extra cost other than the charges above.

If a suitable slot during our sessions cannot be arranged, the choreographer will either add on the charges for hire of the space OR parents may wish to choose a different location (school hall etc.) which they may be able to negotiate for a lower price or for free.

N.B. If the gymnasts require more than 2 hours to learn the routine, this may incur an additional cost.  Your childs coach or the choreographer will speak to you about this.

Payment for floor routine choreography is direct to the person undertaking the Choreography and should be made before the routine is begun.
